Melanie is 29 years old, lives in Wales, UK, and got her type 1 diabetes when she was 14 years old. Today she is running a major diabetes blog (www.melanistephenson.co.uk), is an elite athlete and will soon begin her studier towards becoming a dietician.

- Peter has been working as a chef for the bigger part of his life. When he was 29 y/o he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes.
