For us at AnnaPS, the type 1 diabetic kids are the biggest reason we keep doing what we are doing: making diabetes a little easier. <\/i><\/b><\/div>\n

Type 1 diabetes is a difficult condition to deal with, for the patient as well as the people around him or her. And when the patient is a child, the parents become an even bigger part of his or her life. Maintaining a decent blood sugar level, yet not letting the diabetes become the main subject in the childs life, is a full time job for sure.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
So we figured we’d do our part – and create functional, discrete and comfortable clothes for our little type 1 diabetes heroes. Clothes that allows them to feel free from their condition – even if only for a minute. <\/div>\n

The diabetes devices are safe, yet easy to get a hold of.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
<\/div>\n
The AnnaPS garments provides the child with integrated pockets; for insulin pumps, insulin pens, glucose tablets, hand units, glucose meters or whatever the need is. The pockets have openings from the inside, leaving the pump tubing (for example) protected and out of the way on the garment’s inside. The pocket also has a small cover, that makes sure the device stays in place and at no risk of falling out.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Kids with type 1 diabetes are no different from other kids; they need to play, they need to feel free, to be happy and goof around, spreading joy. A life with diabetes is difficult, we know, but this is our way of making it a little easier. <\/div>\n

F\u00f6r oss p\u00e5 AnnaPS, \u00e4r barn med typ 1-diabetes st\u00f6rsta anledningen till att vi forts\u00e4tter med det vi g\u00f6r: underl\u00e4tta liv med diabetes.<\/i><\/b><\/div>\n

Typ 1-diabetes \u00e4r en tuff diagnos att leva med, b\u00e5de f\u00f6r patienten och f\u00f6r m\u00e4nniskorna runt honom eller henne. Och n\u00e4r patienten \u00e4r ett barn spelar f\u00f6r\u00e4ldrarna en \u00e4nnu st\u00f6rre roll i dennes liv. Att h\u00e5lla en vettig blodsockerniv\u00e5, och \u00e4nd\u00e5 inte l\u00e5ta diabetesen bli huvudfokus i barnets liv, det \u00e4r utan tvekan ett heltidsjobb.<\/div>\n

S\u00e5 vi t\u00e4nkte dra v\u00e5rt str\u00e5 till stacken – och g\u00f6ra funktionella, diskreta och bekv\u00e4ma kl\u00e4der till v\u00e5ra sm\u00e5 typ 1-diabeteshj\u00e4ltar. Kl\u00e4der som till\u00e5ter dem att k\u00e4nna sig fria fr\u00e5n sin diagnos – \u00e4ven om bara f\u00f6r en liten stund.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
AnnaPS-kl\u00e4derna utrustar barnet med integrerade fickor; f\u00f6r insulinpumpar, insulinpennor, druvsocker, handenheter, blodsockerm\u00e4tare eller vad \u00e4n behovet kan vara. Fickorna har \u00f6ppningar fr\u00e5n insidan, som l\u00e4mnar pumpslangen (till exempel) p\u00e5 insidan, s\u00e4ker och utom r\u00e4ckh\u00e5ll. Fickan har ocks\u00e5 ett litet lock, som ser till att hj\u00e4lpmedlet stannar p\u00e5 plats och inte riskerar att ramla ut.<\/div>\n

Barn med typ 1-diabetes \u00e4r inte olika andra barn; de beh\u00f6ver f\u00e5 leka, de beh\u00f6ver f\u00e5 k\u00e4nna sig fria, f\u00e5 vara glada och busa omkring, k\u00e4rleksspridande. Ett liv med diabetes \u00e4r sv\u00e5rt, vi vet, men det h\u00e4r \u00e4r v\u00e5rt s\u00e4tt att g\u00f6ra det lite l\u00e4ttare.<\/div>\n
