It’s that time of the year, again. Time to go back to school. Back to the routines, the homework, the class mates, and… the locker? School bench? As a type 1 diabetic myself, I know the struggle of bringing a billion diabetes devices to school, not knowing where to store it all or how to bring it. And I know, it’s not all that fun being the only one who always brings a bag…<\/i><\/b><\/div>\n

On a normal school day, you (or your kid, friend, brother – whoever has diabetes) need to bring several devices to make sure you’re safe throughout the day. Your pump\/pens, your glucose meter\/hand unit, glucose tablets, glucagon shot, and maybe an extra pen\/site change and some snacks. It’s a lot to carry around!<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
To make the school day a little easier, we want to tell you about our T-shirts with integrated pockets for diabetes devices. In a grey or white shirt (with or without print) with two pockets, you can bring your pump\/pen, your meter\/hand unit, your phone, your mini agenda or something else. This way, you keep it close to your body, safe from falling out, and with you all the time without having to bring a bag.<\/div>\n

Det \u00e4r den d\u00e4r tiden p\u00e5 \u00e5ret igen. Dags att \u00e5terv\u00e4nda till skolan. Tillbaka till rutinerna, till l\u00e4xorna, till klasskompisarna och till… sk\u00e5pet? Skolb\u00e4nken? Som typ 1-diabetiker k\u00e4nner jag till kampen i att f\u00e5 med sig alla biljoner diabetessaker till skolan, utan att veta var man ska g\u00f6ra av allt eller hur man ska b\u00e4ra det. Och jag vet, det \u00e4r inte j\u00e4tteroligt att vara den som alltid har med sig en v\u00e4ska…<\/i><\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Under en normal skoldag, beh\u00f6ver du (eller ditt barn, din kompis, bror – vem det \u00e4n \u00e4r som har diabetes) ha med dig flertalet mackap\u00e4rer och moj\u00e4nger f\u00f6r att se till att du \u00e4r s\u00e4ker dagen igenom. Din pump\/penna, din blodsockerm\u00e4tare\/handenhet, druvsocker, glukagonspruta, och kanske en extra penna\/pumpbyte och lite snacks. Det \u00e4r mycket att b\u00e4ra p\u00e5!<\/div>\n

F\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra en skoldag lite enklare, vill vi ber\u00e4tta om v\u00e5ra T-shirtar med integrerade fickor f\u00f6r diabetesgrejer. I en gr\u00e5 eller vit tr\u00f6ja (med eller utan tryck) med tv\u00e5 fickor, kan du b\u00e4ra din pump\/penna, din m\u00e4tare\/handenhet, din telefon, din minikalender, eller vad du nu kan t\u00e4nkas vilja ha med dig. Du b\u00e4r det n\u00e4ra kroppen, utom risk f\u00f6r att tappa det och har med dig allt hela tiden utan att beh\u00f6va ta med dig en v\u00e4ska.<\/div>\n
