My name is Andreas and I’m 26 years old. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 3.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

What is the worst thing about being a diabetic?\u00a0And what’s the best?<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n
The worst thing about being diabetic is for sure the constant phychological pressure of always having to perform. It’s always there at some degree. There’s no taking time of diabetes.<\/span><\/div>\n
If I have to pick one good thing, it is that it’s manageable and I can live a pretty normal life. I definitely try to keep a positive attitude about it. That makes it much easier to live with.<\/span><\/div>\n

Are you using insulin pens or an insulin pump?<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n
I’m using an insulin pump and I’ve been using pumps for quite a while. My very first insulin pump was the Medtronic MiniMed 508. Nowadays I’m on the MiniMed 640G.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

I actually first found out about AnnaPS when Google searching for clothes with pockets for insulin pumps. I had to find out if someone had thought of the idea and made it a business. First site I found was AnnaPS!<\/span><\/div>\n

What’s your general opinion about the AnnaPS products? Have you got a favourite? Why?<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n
I like the idea of being able to wear the tubing of your pump all on the inside of your clothes. Especially if you have a remote controlled insulin pump. My favorite product would be the tank top, because it’s easy to wear with a normal T-shirt over.<\/span><\/div>\n

Vad \u00e4r det v\u00e4rsta respektive b\u00e4sta med att vara diabetiker?<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n
Det v\u00e4rsta med att vara diabetiker \u00e4r utan tvekan det konstanta psykologiska trycket av att alltid beh\u00f6va prestera. Det finns alltid d\u00e4r i n\u00e5gon grad. Man kan inte ta ledigt fr\u00e5n diabetes.<\/span><\/div>\n
Om jag m\u00e5ste v\u00e4lja en bra sak, s\u00e5 \u00e4r det att diabetes \u00e4r hanterbart och att jag kan leva ett ganska normalt liv. Jag f\u00f6rs\u00f6ker definitivt ha en positiv attityd gentemot den. Det g\u00f6r den mycket l\u00e4ttare att leva med.<\/span><\/div>\n
